Stress 2021: Manage the Menace!
Stress is a familiar term to most of us because—when we have it (and who doesn’t)—we’re likely to be uncomfortable on a scale that ranges anywhere from mild to extreme. However, stress affects more than just our comfort level—it can manifest negative changes in our bodies, emotions, behavior, and even cognitive function. These changes in turn can affect relationships, productivity, physical health—you name it! In this presentation we’ll talk about the three major levels of stress and learn simple but effective tools to recognize and respond appropriately in ways that can preserve health, improve quality of life, and perhaps even extend longevity.

Kate has also worked extensively in the academic publishing industry, during which time she wrote and developed educational materials for McGraw-Hill and Pearson in the New York Metropolitan area. Facilitating improved quality of life for people of all ages is among Kate’s lifelong passions.
